Madhya Pradesh Tour Package – 5 Nights / 6 Days
Madhya Pradesh — the Heart of India — is the country's largest state by area and arguably its most diverse: home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, India's highest density of tiger reserves, and some of the subcontinent's most remarkable medieval temples. Our 5-night MP Heritage Circuit covers Khajuraho, Orchha, and Bhopal — delivering UNESCO temples, living medieval towns, and a vibrant capital city in a compact, comfortable itinerary popular with travellers from Delhi, Noida, Indore and nearby cities.
Khajuraho – UNESCO World Heritage Temples
The Khajuraho Group of Monuments, built by the Chandela dynasty between 950–1050 CE, is one of India's greatest artistic achievements. The 25 surviving temples (out of an original 85) are covered in extraordinarily detailed erotic sculptures — sensual, joyful, and deeply philosophical — that have fascinated archaeologists, art historians, and travellers from Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad for centuries. The nightly sound-and-light show at the Western Group of temples is one of India's most spectacular heritage experiences, narrating the temples' history against the backdrop of the illuminated sandstone masterpieces. UNESCO recognised Khajuraho in 1986.
Orchha – Living Medieval City
Orchha is one of India's most remarkable living heritage sites — a medieval Bundela capital where palaces, cenotaphs, and temples dating from the 16th-17th centuries stand largely intact and occupied. The Raj Mahal, Jahangir Mahal, Ram Raja Temple (the only temple in India where Lord Ram is worshipped as a king), and the Chaturbhuj Temple create an extraordinarily evocative townscape. The 14 riverside chhatris (cenotaphs) of Orchha's rulers, reflected in the Betwa River at sunset, are among MP's most photographed images. Orchha receives far fewer crowds than Khajuraho, making exploration genuinely serene — a welcome discovery for travellers from Chennai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad.
Bhopal – City of Lakes
Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh's capital, is a city of contrasts — ancient mosques and modern museums, two artificial lakes, and India's largest mosque (the Taj-ul-Masajid, under construction since 1868). The Bharat Bhavan arts complex, the State Tribal Museum, and the stunning Bhimbetka rock shelters (UNESCO World Heritage — prehistoric cave paintings dating 30,000 years) within day-trip distance make Bhopal an intellectually rich base. The city's Nawabi culinary heritage produces some of central India's finest biryani and kebabs, drawing food-loving travellers from Lucknow, Kolkata, Surat.
